Christopher Lewis Sprague

Chris was born and raised in Elyria, Ohio. He graduated from Elyria High School in 2003 and was a drummer in the high school marching band. Throughout his 3rd year in high school, Chris thought he would pursue math and physics in college, but that idea quickly changed when he started taking calculus classes during his senior year of high school. He decided to give accounting a chance and declared that as his major. Chris attended Bowling Green State University and graduated with his accounting degree in the Spring of 2007. During his time at Bowling Green, Chris participated in intramural softball, whiffleball, basketball, and flag football along with gaining real world experience as a tax intern at a Toledo based CPA firm. He decided to continue his education by applying for graduate school. He decided to attend The Ohio State University for his master’s degree because of Ohio State’s business school reputation and because Megan was entering her final year there as well. He graduated from OSU in the summer of 2008 and decided he was not ready to leave the Columbus area and attempted to find a job there. He was not able to find his first real job until January of 2009. Chris obtained his CPA in 2009 during a grueling 6 month period of time in which all of his free time was devoted to studying and passing all parts of the CPA exams. He currently works for the CPA firm, McGladrey (5th largest CPA firm in the country) in downtown Columbus. Chris is very happy with the path his life has given him and looks forward to starting a new chapter in his life as a married man.
